Sports Shares “Keep Falling In Love” Ahead of New Album and 2026 World Tour
Sports returns with a new single that balances vulnerability and resolve. “Keep Falling In Love” revolves around a simple truth: love changes but endures. The lyrics move between heat and hesitation, capturing both the thrill of connection and the instinct to protect it. With a smooth groove reminiscent of a classic Soul Train moment, it offers a first look at the band’s forthcoming self-titled album, Sports, arriving February 20, 2026.
The funky, soulful track was recorded in a single day at Salvation Studios in Brighton. Christian’s wife was present during the session, and the song mirrors that sense of closeness. The production feels warm and textured, with a groovy bassline, twangy guitar, and synths that shimmer without overpowering.

This release follows “Nice 2 Meet Myself (Bang Bang Bang)” and “If You Want Me.” Each continues to build on the same foundation: dreamy textures, melodic clarity, and emotional precision.
Sports are refining their sound through a process of complete creative independence, which defines their upcoming self-titled album. The new album is self-produced and recorded in their Tulsa studio, a space they built from the ground up. The Astroturf carpet was a choice. “We were touching grass every day,” Cale said. That detail speaks to how they work: tactile, instinctive, and personal.
Sports have announced a 2026 headline tour across the US, Canada, and Europe, kicking off in Philadelphia and wrapping up in Istanbul. The scale has grown, but the heart remains. Christian Theriot and Cale Chronister are still recording side by side, still listening closely, and constantly finding new ways to evolve their sound.
“Keep Falling In Love” is out now. The tour begins next spring, and the album follows soon after. Sports keep moving… we’re listening.
