Anastasia Beverly Hills prez Norvina spills all we need to know about new bronzers

Anastasia Beverly Hills president Norvina announced on her Twitter last week that the company will be releasing bronzers for the first time in five shades.

As with anything that ABH does, this news immediately went viral and consumers couldn’t wait to let Norvina know how they felt. (What makes this company so dope is that the president interacts with her followers and is always looking for feedback on her products.)

Many people weren’t really satisfied with the shade ranges of the bronzers and some even mentioned that it looked more like a blush collection.

One follower immediately told her the shade range was whack and Norvina replied, “There’s no orange shade. Well, let me rephrase that, I meant none that are super warm/terra-cotta, which is what I think you mean.”

Another Twitter user told her that there are barely bronzers for women of color from other brands, so this launch made her happy. Norvina replied with giving credit to popular MUA Mali Magic for helping her with the deepest shade, “Mahogany”, and that she changed the formula 3-4 times before gaining her approval.

One MUA commented that she’s been in the industry for over 10 years and that the “Mahogany” shade formula will flatter various deeper skin tones and that she was glad the company consulted actual working MUA’s.

Even though the news sparked a lot of positive feedback, just as many people didn’t really feel the shade range. Norvina took the feedback and released a tweet letting her supporters know that she is hearing what everyone is saying and once people try them and tell her what she needs to fix, she will head back in the lab to make changes and add shades. She said there is little to go off of for bronzer shades for WOC because of the lack of bronzers in the industry currently.

So what’s the details on this launch? Norvina took to her Instagram to go more in-depth about the bronzers and says that they are very pigmented, completely matte with no shimmer and are vegan/cruelty free. The focus on this formula is cool, warm, and olive undertones and will be $28. You can purchase their bronzers February 20th on the ABH website and Sephora, Ulta and Macy’s not too long after.
