Nick Jonas Once Got a Weed Boner On the Red Carpet
Did you know that this one time Nick Jonas got a weed boner on the red carpet and it was really embarrassing?
Oh, you didn’t?
You didn’t even know that weed boners were a thing?
To be completely honest, neither did we before Nick stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night and told a really embarrassing, personal story.
Thank GOD he’s raising awareness about this super serious struggle that men have to suffer through in silence, right?
Even Nick has to laugh at himself for this one.
This whole fiasco went down about two years ago when Nick decided to go out with his friends to celebrate the release of his latest single.
“I decided to go out with some friends and hang out and one of my friends’ wives said, ‘Hey, I’ve got this weed lollipop, you might want to give it a try.’ And I was like, ‘Sure why not.’ I never do this. This never happens. But I did it. Enjoyed the night, felt great, went to bed felling fine, alright? Woke up the next day and it was like,” he pauses to make a sound effect that’s supposed to be representative of an escalating earthquake, “Slow motion. Everything’s in slow motion. I’m like, ‘Oh no, this is happening. This is real.’”
While waking up to realize he was high AF probably wouldn’t have been a problem for Nick on a normal day, at the time he was panicking because “I had to be up for the Young Hollywood Awards,” and being fucked up for an award show that’s for/about the kids is never really the greatest idea.
So Nick tries everything he can think of to sober himself up. He goes back to bed for a couple hours, eats a lot of bread, and takes a shower in which malevolent voices told him he was going to die.
Long story short, he was still blazed beyond belief, but the show had to go on.
“I decided to go pick out what I’m going to wear, I pick a red suit, which was a great decision, “he said adding that, “And I get in the car, I’m trying to focus, get in the right mind frame, I feel better and then out of nowhere I get a NARB.”
Just in case you haven’t heard that term from time to time, Nick kindly offered up an explanation.
“Look all men get a NARB from time to time. A NARB is a non-apparent reason boner.”
Which means that for the next couple of minutes, he had to stand on the red carpet with his hands over his boner because he was apparently too high to think about something unsexy to calm himself down.
