Moschino’s New Aesthetic Is Literally to Wear a Cardboard Box

Just when I was beginning to think no fashion shows this season would make me scream “yes gawd” at my computer screen, Moschino served up a runway that was trash chic.

Literally. And it was the most exciting show we’ve seen in any fashion week this season.

Models wore what looked like cardboard boxes held together with packing tape.

Shower curtains.

And there was even a cute little purse that looked like a roll of toilet paper!

And all the biggest models of the moment were a part of it.

Kendall opened the show looking like she face swapped with Kris Jenner – which must have made Kris so happy seeing as Kenny’s her favorite daughter.

Gigi walked out looking like a flawless piece of porcelain.

Bella looked so perfectly moody, you’d think she was born to frown.

And all your favorite Victoria’s Secret Angels couldn’t resist stomping down the cardboard covered runway either.

The whole show was fabulous, derelicte chic, and most importantly, it looked fresh.

So far, the rest of fashion week has either been WTF or filled with clothes your mom and all her friends could have been wearing in the 70s or 80s.

It’s a pity more designers can’t think outside the box half as well as Jeremy Scott can.
