Miley Cyrus Says She’s Accepting Donald Trump

Miley Cyrus had a really hard day today.

Her homegirl Hillary didn’t end up becoming the first female president after all and Miley didn’t take it too well.

With tears glistening beneath her eyes and an achey breaky voice, Miley Cyrus announced to the world that even though though she wasn’t happy about it, she was gonna put on her big girl pants and accept Donald Trump.

“I do want to say that I’ve been very vocal for my support for everyone besides Donald Trump. Heavily supported Bernie. Heavily supported Hillary. And I still think that in her lifetime she deserves to be the first female president, and that’s what makes me so sad,” Miley said. “But, like Donald Trump so ironically played after his speech, ‘You can’t always get what you want.’ And happy hippies, we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are. And so Donald Trump, I accept you. And this hurts to say, but I even accept you as the President of the United States, and that’s fine…because I think now I want to be hopeful.”

That’s the spirit, Miley.

We ain’t gonna solve anything by shouting to the rooftops that he’s not our president.
