Manic Panic came out with a dry shamp that won’t destroy your color

Where’d you get the idea for this dry shampoo?
Hair color can fade gradually with shampooing. We wanted to give our customers an option to remove oil and freshen their hair without affecting their color. Because water is the enemy of most hair color, we formulated our Hair Freshener Dry Shampoo to help our Dyehards preserve their Manic Panic hair color. By avoiding exposure to water, as well as the harsh detergents found in most shampoos, it will help maintain color.
I noticed this dry shampoo is anti-fading — does this mean the other ones I’ve been using could have been affecting my color?!
Yes! Many of them contain alcohol and oils that will strip color off your hair. Ours contains none of this – Hair Freshener Dry Shampoo is actually made with preserving our Manic Panic hair color in mind, so we made certain to avoid any ingredients that cause colors to fade.
You guys have always made hair dye your staple, no matter what’s trendy at the moment. So why branch out into more of a trendy product now?
We honestly rarely pay attention to trends — we create them! We make products that we love, and we use everything we sell. We made this product because it was something that both we and our customers always wanted, and we are so excited to share it with the rest of the world. We think you will love it as much as we do.
Is this dry shampoo better for girls with colored hair?
Because of the quality of the ingredients, it is great for all people with all types of hair. The absence of oils and alcohol assures that both hair and hair color will look and smell fresh.
How is this dry shampoo different from others?
Dry shampoo was a big craze years ago, but in our opinion it was never perfected. Some were aerosol sprays that we now know were bad for the environment. Others were talc-like, thick and left a film on the hair. None of these really made your hair feel clean.

Hmmmm… I think it was over two weeks, when we were on tour in the UK doing backup vocals for Blue Coupe (an amazing band consisting of founding members of the Alice Cooper Group and Blue Oyster Cult).
