LUKE SPILLER STEPS INTO THE SPOTLIGHT WITH SOLO DEBUT
The charismatic frontman of The Struts is branching out on his own, bringing his signature rock glamour to a much-anticipated solo project.
The Struts’ Luke Spiller just announced his debut solo album with possibly the most iconic title we’ve heard all year: Love Will Probably Kill Me Before Cigarettes And Wine. Like, could he BE any more dramatic? We’re obsessed.
The glam rock vocalist has been building anticipation since releasing the title track last month, and now we know his full 10-song collection will arrive April 25 via Big Machine Rock. “It’s been a long time in the making,” Spiller shares, and the wait appears worth it.
To celebrate the announcement, Luke has unveiled another single, “The Ending Is Always The Same” – an honest track about the complexities of trying to remain friends after a breakup, only to end up rekindling the relationship and repeating the cycle.
“It’s a song that comes with a warning label. Don’t try this at home…” Luke cautions. It’s the kind of relatable situation many of us have experienced, making the track both personally revealing and universally appealing.
With his distinctive style, commanding stage presence, and powerful vocals, Luke’s solo venture promises to deliver the theatrical rock energy fans have come to expect, while exploring new creative territory.
Mark your calendars for April 25th. This is one rock release that should be on every music lover’s radar this spring.
