Lindsay Lohan Has Decided to Adopt a Fake Accent
Well, it’s finally happened.
After years of eccentric public behavior, Lindsay Lohan has finally embraced her destiny and become a celeb with a fake accent.
Yesterday, Perez Hilton posted a video of Lindsay addressing the refugee crisis in Athens, and he couldn’t help noticing that when she opened her mouth, a strange new accent magically materialized.

You can literally watch Lindsay’s PR team shrivel up and die the longer Lindsay rambles on.
But Lindsay couldn’t care less that she’s embarrassing the people around her with her new accent, because it’s just a part of who she is now and haters gonna hate.
“It’s a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn,” Lindsay told the Daily Mail. “I’ve been learning different languages since I was a child. I’m fluent in English and French can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic.”

Love it.
The whole thing harkens back to the days when movie stars were all forced to walk around using that fake Transatlantic accent, which could help explain why all the Old Hollywood actresses were so eccentric it hurt.
Maybe Lindsay realized her dream while she was shooting “Liz & Dick,” or maybe she’s been crafting her accent since “The Parent Trap,” but whatever its origin, we’re just glad that Lilo is living her truth.
