Well aside from the mystery and hype that surrounded Kanye West’s Yeezy Season 4 fashion show yesterday, the main attraction (for Twitter at least) was the plentiful snafus that arose as models walked down the runway.
The show was held outdoors on Roosevelt Island, and while that might sound ideal, clothing was malfunctioning and models who were standing in the heat began to pass out.
And, like clockwork, Twitter started going off on how the show was a total disaster. Even a notable fashion editor chimed in.
Probably the most meme-able blooper, though, was when a pair of boots kept one model from even walking normally. She basically had to hobble down the runway which honestly doesn’t look too good for Kanye.
People have been mocking the moment since yesterday, but Kylie Jenner didn’t agree with the idea that something might be wrong and instead applauded the model for just getting through it.
Kylie said:
@riseupkordei nothing?
I’m so proud of her. She didn’t want to disappoint and she fuckin pulled through and tried her best. She’s awesome
