Story continues below…

Where are you from?

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga.

Who’s been the biggest influence on your life so far?

My mom probably.

How’d you get into modeling?

In high school I was told that I should model a lot. Photographers would ask me to shoot so one day I just went for it and I haven’t stopped since.

What’s been your biggest job as a model so far?

I did something for SnapChat’s Spectacle glasses. The videos were in their store in NY.

What would you say to someone who said modeling’s just about having a pretty face?

That’s definitely not true. It’s more about someone who knows their face without looking. Someone that can project a certain emotion with their features.

What advice would you give to girls who want to model?

I would say to find a friend that’s willing to take pictures of you so you can produce content. And to make yourself look as tall as possible. Also have a goal for your modeling career.

What’s your main goal as a model?

My main goal is to influence people to just be themselves, and I would also hope it (modeling) leads me to acting.

How would you describe your style?

I would say it’s pretty dramatic.

What’s the most important part of your daily routine?

What’s your best advice for Instagram?

Think about the fact that whatever you do effects someone else. Make it good. Try and be considerate.

If you weren’t modeling, what would you be doing?

I would probably be leaving the country to teach in another country.
