Christian Siriano had so many IT girls and Icons that his show itself could be called the IT girl of NYFW. From a special surprise performance by recording artist Sia which was illustrated by supermodel Coco Rocha performing a dance routine on the runway, to a front row packed with Sarah Hyland, Alicia Silverstone, Ke$ha, Laverne Cox, Avril Lavigne, Padma Lakshmi, Quinta Brunson, Rosie Perez, Harvey Guillen, and themost iconic, Janet Jackson, there was not a steady eye in the house. Models on the runway rocked his latest collection like Martha Hunt, Anja Leuenberger, Larissa Marchiori, Anna Savka, Hunter Warr, Denzel Chisolm, Natalie Jane, Lauren Chan, Brandon Good, Daphne Velghe, Debra Shaw and more.
Following the beyond impressive show which was certainly an in demand ticket, Siriano hosted an exclusive dinner at the hot new West Village eatery Ambra, which opened its doors for the designer for fashion week from Chef John DeLucie (Lion, Waverly Inn). The 30+ person dinner included homemade pastas, antipasti, fish and seafood, brick oven gourmet pizza and vegan dishes. Front row notables such as
Laverne Cox, Sarah Hyland, Janet Jackson, Sasha Colby, Alicia Silverstone, Padma Lakshmi and Quinta Brunson, among others joined Siriano at the intimate dinner party.
Featured at the dinner were specialty cocktails by Jameson, (Fashionable Old Fashioned), and Sainte Marguerite En Provence rose in gorgeous custom wine glasses, which were raised as the room toasted to Siriano during the post show meal. El Cristiano tequila and Peroni were also served at the shindig.
Once the dinner wrapped, Siriano hosted a full throttle post show bash at The Ned Nomad, the exclusive members club in NoMad district helmed by Richie Akiva.
Ty Sunderland deejayed center stage, with surprise performance by Slayyyter introduced by Siriano, which had the entire room on the dance floor into the wee hours. Christian Siriano was joined at the bash by a flow of 400 guests including Janet Jackson (who held court in her own VIP area near the fireplace nook), Alicia Silverstone, Sarah Hyland, Coco Rocha, Laverne Cox, Sasha Colby, Quinta Brunson, Padma Lakshmi, Adrien Grenier, Audrina Patridge, Katie Cassidy, and many more. Sarah Hyland and Quinta Brunson sipped on espresso martinis featuring Kahlua and Absolut, while Sainte Marguerite rose wine flowed through the space along with Bombay. Siriano, Jackson, Katie Cassidy, Emilia Silberg, Audrina Patridge, Izzy Metz and Kailyn Shepherd, among other models and party guests, snacked on popcorn treats that populated every VIP table, including delicious flavors like Candy Pop Twix, Cereal Pop Fruity Pebbles, Cookie Pop Chips Ahoy! and Candy Pop M&Ms.
