Inside the Ridic Mega-Mansion Where Gigi and Bella Grew Up
Everybody knows that Gigi and Bella Hadid grew up rich, but even that doesn’t begin to prepare you for the mind-boggling experience of seeing the house their father moved into after getting divorced from their mother.
It’s technically a mega-mansion, but it looks more like a palace or dare I say it, an ancient wonder of the world.
The highly esteemed global publication Harper’s Bazaar Arabia Interiors just published a cover story about the brilliance of Papa Hadid’s 48,000 square foot palace, which has been valued at $85 million.
“There’s a house in Bel Air that resembles the subtle archways of a Tuscan Villa, the perfectly manicured gardens of Versailles, and the neoclassical charm of an ornate French 18th-century mansion,” Harper’s Bazaar writes, which sounds like like an overstatement but is actually a spot-on assessment.
The house comes complete with a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, a ball room that can seat up to 250 people, a “baroque theatre” to watch movies in, a traditional Turkish hammam (a luxuriously tiled Turkish bath), and even its own set of swans who “can be found swimming in a nearby pond languidly passing their time amidst beautifully kept flowers.”
Oh, and there’s also a handful of Renaissance-style portraits that Papa Hadid painted himself. NBD, or anything.
For fuck’s sake click here to see this house in all its batshit glory.
It’s seriously a wonder that Gigi and Bella aren’t spoiled monsters.
