The Latest Photos of the New ‘Gilmore Girls’ Prove Rory Went to Yale for Nothing
“Gilmore Girls” is back, and it’s looking like Rory Gilmore — the main character played by Alexis Bledel — hasn’t done much in the 9 years since we’ve last seen her.
Entertainment Weekly released an exclusive look at the revival series, and the photos show Rory, who by this time would be a Yale alum, working as a high school teacher. In her hometown, Stars Hollow. And she’s still hanging out with her mom all the time.
Maybe the theme of the show will be that it’s a learning experience.
“You know how you finish college and you’re a few years older and you’re like, ‘I wish I could go do this now ‘cause I would appreciate it so much more and understand it and get more out of it’?” Lauren Graham (who plays Rory’s mother on the show) told EW. “That’s the opportunity I have this with and I appreciate every day that I’m here.”
