FEATURE INTERVIEW:
How did your passion for music begin, and when did you realize it would become your career?
My passion for music started very early. I grew up surrounded by sounds and rhythms. My family has always been very musical, full of percussionists who played in samba schools, marching bands, and parades. Being around that made me listen to a bit of everything, and that’s when I began to understand the power of music. I realized it would become my profession when people started recognizing me for what I did. But deep down, I always knew — in my heart and mind — that this was what I wanted for my life. It’s always been a dream.
You’ve performed on stages around the world. Which of those experiences has left the biggest mark on you? Is there a place that holds a special spot in your memory?
I believe that the places that mark me the most are always the ones where I make my debut in a new country. Each one has its own energy and stays with me in a unique way. But there are a few that truly hold a special place in my heart, like the Museum of Tomorrow. It was a dream ever since I visited it as a tourist, and getting to perform there was incredible. Another unforgettable moment was my first time at Green Valley — and, of course, Tomorrowland. Those are places every artist dreams of performing at, and they definitely left a strong impression on me.
Is there a dream collaboration you’d still like to make happen?
There are so many people I’d love to work with. If it’s a vocal feature, there are plenty of artists I admire… honestly, there are so many talented people out there who could bring something unexpected and special to my tracks. Who knows what’s next?
Which artists are always on your playlist and continue to inspire you?
The entire Keinemusik collective — they always come up with innovative music and remain a huge source of inspiration for me, along with their earlier releases. I’ve also been listening a lot to the Scenarios crew, Emmanuel Satie, and the whole group, as well as Innervisions. I’ve been studying those sounds a lot, and they inspire me deeply. Artists like Adam Ten, Rafael, Mita Gami, and Yamagucci — they’re all extremely talented, and I always look for inspiration in each of them to bring something new and personal to my own music.

You just released “Mau Olhado.” How was the creative process behind that track, and what does it represent within your current work?
The track “Mau Olhado” was with me for quite some time. I had found the vocal and immediately connected with it — I felt it matched perfectly with the style I was producing at that moment. The creative process was super fun!
Even though it’s an Afro House track, it mixes elements from other Afro styles, which makes it a bit different from what I usually do. In the end, it worked out really well — it got support from several artists and DJs, and the feedback has been amazing. I think it shows a bit of my versatility and stands apart from my other hit, “Gira”.
Can we expect new projects later this year? Anything you can share already?
Absolutely! I’m always exploring my versatility within house music and trying to bring something new to every performance. Playing on bigger stages requires new energy, and I want to keep doing what makes me happy while connecting with the audience. There’s a lot of exciting stuff on the way, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next.
