Courtney Paige Is an Actress Playing an Actress on “The Arrangement”
Galore met up with Courtney Paige, the Canadian firecracker starring in E! Entertainment’s “The Arrangement.” She tells us about all of her acting and screenwriting #goals as an upcoming star.
Where are you from?
I’m from Kelowna BC, Canada.
How long have you been acting?
Well, I started doing theater whenI was 11 and I branched into film and television about six years ago. In Canada I did a small role on the show Psych and an indie film called “Suspension” that got picked up at a lot of festivals. I just recently booked my recurring guest role on “The Arrangement.”
So awesome! Tell me about your role The Arrangement?
My character moves form a small town to become an actress and meets the other roles along the way. I know its not a lot but I can’t give away too much because my character is kind of a surprise.
When does the show air?
The show airs on E!, March 5th. Don’t miss it!
What are some of your industry career goals? Do you have a dream role?
Aside from acting I am a writer. I would love to one day write and star in one of my own productions. In terms of a dream role, it’d be really fun to play a fast-talking and empowered lawyer.
Whats your all time fave film?
I’d have to say the “The Dark Knight.” Heath Ledger’s joker was incomparable.
Who are some of your biggest inspirations?
I look up to a lot of actresses, but I do feel it’s role dependent. I love Meryl Streep, Rachel McAdams, Charlize Theron, and Natalie Portman.
What do you like to do with your downtime?
I love the outdoors. Camping, horseback riding, fishing, and hiking are all activities I try to do often.
What’s your favorite beauty product of the moment?
Honestly, I love like everything from Too Faced and Benefit. One specific product I love is from Mac, it’s a volcanic exfoliant scrub. It’s amazing!
Any TV shows your obsessing over?
Top three are definitely “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Nashville,” and “Scandal.”
