Introducing rising star of the electronic scene, Chloé Caillet As a DJ, producer, and creative director, Chloé is the true definition of a multi-hyphenate with an unmistakable artistic vision to boot. Her slick blend of disco, electronic, house, and funk has seen her play at some of the world’s biggest festivals like Glastonbury and Burning Man, as well as MUIMUI’s fashion parties. Meanwhile, her recent punched-up remix of Beck’s 2019 track “Chemical” earned the attention of Rolling Stone, and was released alongside a dreamy visual featuring supermodel Stella Maxwell. With an already impressive list of accolades behind her as a DJ, the budding dance juggernaut has finally graced us with her debut single, “Love Ain’t Over”, and it does not disappoint.

With thumping four-to-the-floor beats, “Love Ain’t Over” is every bit the hypnotic deep house cut. Sassy, classy, and full of groove-filled rhythm, the track channels an uplifting personal sentiment for Chloé. She shares: “The song was created as I was going through a breakup. I needed to express a feeling of moving forward and pushing through. ‘Love Ain’t Over’ represents the need to never give up on  Love and to keep going as it will come.”

For the music video, director Ana Sting aimed to create something that would capture Chloé’s fun-loving persona with tongue-in-cheek pop culture references throughout. “I decided to represent different people and fun characters dancing to the song. As the song is universal and everyone is looking for love I wanted to portray that” explains Ana of the creative direction. Collaborators in the video came from the diverse creative community that Chloé has cultivated through her years in international fashion and music scenes.

For those new to the world of Chloé Caillet, a career in music has always been on the cards for the London, New York, and Paris-raised musician. As a lifelong instrumentalist, Chloé has been able to translate her technical prowess and diverse inspirations into a unique path. Though she initially worked as a major label A&R, Chloé was drawn to New York’s thriving club scene, where she quickly became a key player. After being immersed in the scene from booking DJs and organizing events, Chloé eventually made the leap to working on her own music: “I wanted to utilize my industry knowledge, so I bought myself a pair of CDJs and taught myself how to mix“. The rest was history for the global DJ. Chloé’s debut single “Love Ain’t Over” marks the beginning of a series of playful productions to be unveiled via her own label, XCESS RECORDS.
