Your Fav Celebs Are Super Pumped About Hillary Clinton’s Nomination
Yesterday, nearly a hundred years after women first gained the right to vote, Hillary Clinton made history by clinching the Democratic Nomination for President, making her the first woman in history to do so for either major party.
Of course, Hillary Clinton is still only the presumptive nominee right now. In order for her to drop that pesky adjective, Bernie Sanders has to drop out of the race and she has to officially win the nomination at the Democratic National Convention next month, but still, things have never looked better for the 68-year-old admirer of Christina Aguilera’s boobs.
“Tonight caps an amazing journey — a long, long journey,” Hillary told the crowd in a speech marking her historic victory. “We all owe so much to those who came before, and tonight belongs to all of you.”
Regardless of whether or not you’re ready to stand with her, or still hoping that your bro Bernie Sanders can pull through with a miraculous coup, you have to admit that this is an exciting moment to get to live through.
And it’s not just us who think that — here’s what some of your favorite celebrities are saying about Hillary Clinton’s historic victory.
Proud to support @HillaryClinton! She’s making history not for herself, but for women everywhere! #ImWithHer
