All The Celebrities Who Hated Pants At the Billboard Music Awards
Summer is coming.
We know, it’s hard to believe it, but oppressive 90-degree weather and perpetual swamp butt is right around the corner.
Last night at the Billboard Music Awards, some celebrities were already embracing this mindset and forsaking their pants like style prophets.
Of course, the high priestess of this no pants movement was none other than Miss Britney Spears.
She showed up on the red carpet in matching black underwear covered with intricate lace patterns, gemstones, and a see-through train.
And when it was time for her to go onstage to perform a medley of her biggest hits, Britney continued to live the no pants life, wearing a red, bedazzled bra with matching barely there panties.
Of course, she did put on a sparkly shirt/skirt combo to accept her Millennium Award, which has previously been awarded to Beyoncé and Whitney Houston, but the skirt was pretty much see-through, so does it really count as skirt?
A question for the ages.
Joining Britney in her no pants revolution were Fifth Harmony.
And Demi Lovato, who simultaneously managed to say fuck you to pants and transphobia, which is an excellent illustration of how women are great at multitasking.
So what are you waiting for?
Time to make like these celebrities and throw your pants away, or at least place them into a box labeled, “Do not open until it’s sad again outside.”
