Bobbi Kristina’s BF Was Just Found Responsible For Her Death
Last June, just before Bobbi Kristina Brown died, a lawsuit was filed by her estate against her partner, Nick Gordon, for his suspected role in her death among many other things.
Well, the court found him liable in her wrongful death today after he failed to show to the hearing for the civil lawsuit.
An unconscious 22-year-old Bobbi was found face down in a bathtub at her home in Georgia on Jan. 31, 2015. She was in a coma for nearly 6 months after that until she died in hospice care July 26, 2015.
We’re pretty sure that Nick and Kristina were married according to this article from 2014, but we can’t confirm it.
Bobbi’s guardian, Bedelia Hargrove, filed a $10 million wrongful death civil suit while she was still in a coma on life support that claims Nick physically abused and stole thousands of dollars from Bobbi without her knowing.
In August, the suit was amended to include more specific information, and it alleges that Nick gave Bobbi a “toxic cocktail, rendering her unconscious and then put her face down in a tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage.”
The lawsuit also alleges that Nick was transferring money from Bobbi Kristina’s account into a different account that was controlled by him without her knowledge.
He was also issued a restraining order after he “threatened one of the trustees [of Bobbi Kristina’s trust assets] with guns and other violent weapons.”
