I want Steve Lacy’s entire closet. Sometimes I see his clothes account and have to shut my phone off in Envy.
What’s the wildest thing that’s ever happened to you backstage or front row at a fashion show?
I saw one of my all time GOATs, Luca Guadagnino in the flesh. Froze up immediately!
With over 8M + fans what’s your secret sauce for keeping your content so fire?
There is no sauce nor do I have any sauce. I think someone generations before me placed a good luck spell on my bloodline and I am just reaping the benefits of it now.
If you could collab with any artist or designer, who would it be and what would you make?
Definitely Miu Miu. I would love to whip up a classic uniform.
Which city do you vibe with more between New York or LA?
It’s gotta be NYC for me. I need to walk around and not have it be on the side of a busy freeway with semi trucks blasting by.
What are your top 5 places to visit while in NYC?
Dover Street Market, Spicy Moon Bowery, The MoMA, Jamaican Flavors in Bed Stuy and Under The K Bridge for a concert.
What’s one place any first timer visiting LA should check out?
The Pink Wall. No one goes there anymore aside from Eastern European tourists and I’m scared they are going to paint it a different color as a PR stunt. I’m really actually scared!
Who’s got the title for best pizza in NYC?
Paulie Gee’s hands down.
What your go to restaurant for a date in either places?
My girlfriend took me to Dirt Candy in NYC for my birthday and it kinda changed my life.
Name one NYC landmark you have fallen in love with.
Any bridge you can walk across. For some reason walking to Brooklyn from Manhattan feels faster than taking the F train.
Where is one place in world you love to travel to?
I need to have an acai bowl from the source in Brazil in the next six months or something really bad is going to happen!
What’s the weirdest DM you’ve ever received?
When I was a “yes man” in 2019, I had this billionaire dude in Saudi Arabia offer to fly me out because his daughter was a fan but then he ghosted me and I was offended!
Spill the tea—what’s your most embarrassing fashion moment on or off camera?
I’m a big sweater and I have definitely pulled up to a few shows looking like I just went swimming. I need to find a beta blocker that stops me from sweating. Or just get my sweat glands removed.
If you had to pick ONE fashion trend from the past to bring back, what would it be?
I want fun scarves back now. It’s cold and my neck feels so exposed all the time.
Working with Prada and being front row at big shows, what’s been your most iconic runway moment so far?
Seeing Miuccia Prada come out at the end of each show is always such a treat. She’s such a singular voice and such a big creative inspiration.
How would you describe your personal style?
I like dressing it up. I like pretending like I have a job. I also need to offset the hideous fits I wore from 2019 to 2020.
What can we expect next from you on this journey and where do you see yourself evolving into next?
I always feel like odd numbered years are cursed and I definitely hibernated this year. However, I am itching for 2026 to come around (an even numbered year). I am putting the pedal to the metal. The “BENOFTHEWEEK” cinematic universe will be expanding to levels that have never been reached before.
