Bella was recently on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, and she got to talking about her past as a Disney star, and the difficulty of finding work after “Shake It Up” ended.
While her Disney days might have made it been harder get equal treatment from casting directors, Bella says that she doesn’t really even rely on the income from her TV and movie projects, but instead from social media.
“I started out 18 with literally not a cent to my name,” Bella says. “[I had] $200 in my bank account when I turned 18. Nothing else. I bought a house this year from social media work, only from social media work. My social media to me is how I pay my bills.”
