Anna Wintour Is Responsible For Taylor Swift’s New Makeover
Taylor Swift showed up to Coachella with a brand-new bleach blonde hairstyle, and as it turns out, Vogue’s editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is behind the change.
Taylor is posing for Vogue’s May 2016 issue, and Anna apparently felt it was time to make Taylor look a little bit less like, well, Taylor.
“We thought that we could take Taylor, who is a beautiful, beautiful girl, but has been a little bit more conservative in her fashion choices, and turn her into a Hedi Slimane rock ’n’ roll girl,” Anna said in an episode of Vogue‘s new podcast, which is its own new weird thing.
In the podcast, Anna discusses her thought process behind the hair decision, and Tonne Goodman, Vogue‘s fashion director, explains how they went about giving Taylor some edge for the shoot.
But whether or not Taylor will keep up with the look? That is another question only T-Swift can answer.
