Lana Del Rey’s Music Video For “Love” Is Here
Well, it looks like Lana Del Rey isn’t holding out on her new project! Only two days after she dropped the lead single from her newest yet-to-be-named album, she’s now released a music video to go with.
She announced the video for “Love” during an Instagram live stream this morning, saying that it would be uploaded shortly.
And considering it was only a few days ago that Lana started revealing promo posters for the video, this was a really quick release.
Lana also said that she would announce more details on the album throughout the rest of the month. She didn’t talk about it much, but she gave us a few hints. She said that if she had to describe the aesthetic of the new record, she’d call it “Retro-sensibility with a futuristic flare.”
This video is just plain gorgeous, and alternates between shots of Lana looking ethereal as ever, swaying on stage with flowers in her hair, and doe-eyed retro kids crusin’ around the galaxy in Chevy pick-ups.
It only makes sense that this video would have such a strong focus on “the kids,” as Lana has said this new album was made for her fans.
“I made my last four albums for me, but this one is for my fans and where I hope we are all headed,” Lana said.
