Kanye’s Appearance At Governors Ball Was Canceled
Governor’s Ball, aka the annual music festival for which Kanye West was set to perform The Life of Pablo for the first time has been canceled due to “severe weather.”
And so now the rainy NYC weather matches my mood. The cancellation email reads:
“Sunday, June 5th of Gov Ball 2016 has officially been cancelled, due to severe weather and a high likelihood of lightning in the area. The safety of fans, artists and crew always comes first.”
I’m really sad about this. So are other people.

There’s talk that Kanye will perform at Hot 97’s Summer Jam festival instead, which takes place tonight, and features a number of artist that are featured on TLOP.
So Gov ball is canceled and Kanye is already in NY. Pusha t & Big Sean are booked at summer jam. pic.twitter.com/mJ52MuVIKl

Too bad most of us spent all of our money on tickets to Governors Ball, huh?
Here’s the thing if you get hit by lightning during a Kanye show you go to heaven on an ultralight beam anyway so #GovBallNYC
