R&B Singer Kehlani Allegedly Attempted Suicide Last Night
20-year old R&B singer and Grammy-nominated artist Kehlani has allegedly attempted suicide, according to an Instagram post that has since been deleted.
“Today, I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point,” said Kehlani, before adding, “Don’t believe the blogs you read. No one was cheated on and I’m not a bad person.”
ICYMI, last night the Internet erupted after Kehlani’s ex, rapper Party Next Door, posted a picture on Instagram that insinuated she was back in bed with him after cheating on her boyfriend, NBA basketball player Kyrie Irving.
“After all her shenanigans, still got the R&B singer back in my bed,” he wrote. Although he quickly deleted the post, all it takes to cause a little trouble is for one person to take one screenshot. Needless to say, he wasn’t fast enough. He has since deleted his account, as has Kehlani.
According to The Shade Room, she also allegedly posted this image and comment essay to Instagram before deleting her account:

Fans had been bashing Kehlani on Twitter and Instagram because they thought she’d cheated on her boyfriend — but it’s unfair and naive to assume that Kehlani’s apparent decision to attempt suicide was because of one night of online abuse. We will never know her motivations and it’s none of our business.
Rather than point any fingers or speculate as to what happened when and with whom, we’re just happy that Kehlani is okay right now.
