One of myΒ favorite trends to come out of the last few years is the small tattoo.
I personally have two of them, and they’re the best investments I have ever made. Because they’re tiny, they aren’t overpowering or obnoxious and they are in cool spots like my finger and wrist. I like to think of them as permanent jewelry.
Here are some celebs that we think have the cutest small tats, and maybe you’ll find some inspirations for your own.
1. Lana Del Rey
Queen of small tattoos. Lana has several tiny tats, but these on the outsides of her hands have become iconic within the Lana fandom. Trust No One and Paradise.
2. KhloΓ© Kardashian
Even though this is for her ex Lamar Odom, the L O tattoo is so cute, and the placement is so perfect.
3. Rihanna
The font RiRi chose for this tattoo, which says “rebelle fleur,” is so beautiful. And normally as tats fade they get ugly, but this still looks so good.
4. Miley Cyrus
Miley has so many tattoos at this point, most of which are weird af things like a jar of vegemite, but this placement of the crescent moon tattoo is really cool.

I’ve always admired this tattoo because it’s so detailed for such a delicate place, like imagine how long this took. Also, it’s just such a boss tat.

Normally I hate foot tattoos because I think they are slightly trashy, but Sel makes them look so freakin’ cute.
