10 Lyrics That Match These Celebs’ Favorite Band Tees

Band tees have come back around as these super stylish and edgy pieces that go along well with any outfit. They say you’re trendy and cute, but still really casual and chill.

In fact, they’re so trendy, celebs often wear them. Cynical music snobs will assert that there’s no way these starlets are listening to these vintage bands. But we’ve done the homework and found lyrics from these bands’ songs that totally mesh with our girls, because none of them would jeopardize their personal brands for a silly T-shirt.

So we picked out a few of our fave celeb rocker tee looks, and also some lyrics that we assume are their faves.

1. Kim Kardashian in Metallica

“Master of puppets I’m pulling your strings. Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams.”

The Kardashians are the puppet masters of American pop culture in the 21st century so don’t ever try to tell me Kim isn’t a true fan of Metallica.

2. Paris Hilton in The Ramones

” Chewing out a rhythm on my bubblegum.”

Paris is decked out head to toe in bubblegum pink, clearly as a visual ode to the song “Rockaway Beach.”

3. Kirsten Dunst in Iron Maiden

“Bring your daughter, bring your daughter to the slaughter, let her go, let her go, let her go!”

Bring it on, I guess?

4. Lindsay Lohan in Def Leppard

“Television lover, baby, go all night. Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet. Little Miss Innocent sugar me.”

Lindsay has been our television lover ever since “Liz & Dick” <3

5. Megan Fox in Mötley Crüe

“I carry my crucifix under my death list. Forward my mail to me in hell.”

On the inside, Megan Fox is an angry teenage boy from Florida who smokes an assload of weed. Still, I don’t think she realizes that basically all of Mötley Crüe’s music is about heroin.

6. Holly Madison in Iron Maiden

“White man came across the sea. He brought us pain and misery. He killed our tribes killed our creed. He took our game for his own need.”

Honestly this song sounds like it’s about Hugh Hefner so we totally buy that Holly is an Iron Maiden fan.

7. Rihanna in Nine Inch Nails

“I wear this crown of thorns, upon my liar’s chair, full of broken thoughts, I cannot repair.”

Enjoying Nine Inch Nails requires clinical depression and lots of weed. Pothead Rihanna’s halfway there.

8. Lana Del Rey in Guns N’ Roses

“So never mind the darkness, we still can find a way ’cause nothin’ lasts forever, even cold November rain.”

Now I can say that Lana Del Rey does like Guns N’ Roses, but probs only because she casually dated Axl Rose (or so they say). And she even has a song on her album “Ultraviolence” called “Guns and Roses.” Clearly she’s a true fan.

9. Olivia Wilde in Bruce Springsteen

“In the day we sweat it out in the streets of a runaway American dream. At night we ride through mansions of glory in suicide machines.”

Has Olivia Wilde ever sweat over anything? Like she always seems so calm and composed, no way does she relate to the All-American hustle that is the core of any Bruce Springsteen song. But she likes to wear a heavy smokey eye, which is very Jersey, so we’ll take her T-shirt’s word for it.

10. Kendall Jenner in AC/DC

“Knockin’ me out with those American thighs. Taking more than her share, had me fighting for air. She told me to come but I was already there.”

Kendall’s thighs aren’t American, they’re godly.
