Why Tina Fey Doesn’t Want To Work With Amy Poehler All The Time

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler don’t want to do a TV series… now… and most likely ever.

Yup, during a panel discussion at the Tribeca Film Festival, Tina revealed that she would probably never star in an enitre series with her bestie Amy.

“We’re regarded as a comedy team, which is certainly fine by me,” she said. “But I think we both know this to be true — it’s because we’re actually both alphas. So it works in short spurts, but I don’t know if we would make a real dynasty.”

This actually makes a lot of sense. It’s hard to be a boss bitch who works super closely with another boss bitch. Plus, it’s not like they haven’t made a ton of movies together. They are entitled to their own lives!

In the same interview, Tina also expressed her lack of desire to get behind the camera as a director. Simply, she doesn’t “understand or really care about cameras.”

But fans of the Emmy winner need not worry, she’s working on the coolest project of her life — the musical adaptation of “Mean Girls.”

I’m just going to let two of the most talented women in Hollywood keep doing their thang(s).
