There are so many different ways you can take this trend: you can deck yourself out in shade of pink and glitter a la Dolly Parton in the ’60s, or you can go soft, with neutral snakeskin tonesβ€” or go dark for old-timey-western-bank-robber vibes. The possibilities are endless.

Satins slips, silk tops, and feathersβ€” basically everything that would be at a sleepover in 2000 with Britney Spears. We know sexy nightwear, lingerie bodysuits, and lace bralettes have been in the game for awhile now. But now the trend has gone even further. Now you can buy a matching PJ outfit or wear your silk robe out IRL. It’s minimal effort, maximum cuteness, maximum comfort.

Isn’t that all we want anyway? We’re HERE for leisure wear.

Monochromed Out

Monochrome is not as boring as the name suggests.

Stick with a color, (the shinier the better in my opinion) and create one harmonious look out of different, but same-colored pieces.

Gigi is killing it in this all pink number with matching sunnies. The best part is you can take different shades of one color and layer them.

Summer is almost over bb, it’s time to layer up. But you can layer with sheer fabrics too, because thot is never out of season.

New trends in leather (or pleather rather) are rising quicker than comments on Taylor Swift’s new video (ok, maybe not thatΒ quick).

Now, cabbie hats are being made in leather and vinyl, and since menswear is also on trend, a leather bra under an open oversize shirt is hot as hell.

If our skirts weren’t so tight, maybe we could actually ride a motorcycle.

Blazers, baggy pants, unbutton oversized shirts. Or if you wanna be V bold go all 2002 Avril Lavigne and rock a tie.

Androgynous wear is not only encouraged, but can also be ultra sexy. Just ask Zayn and Gigi who were serving sexy off-the-clock business men in their Vogue feature.

Or take a cue from Charli XCX and go for the monochrome Barbie Businesswoman lewk shown here.

Prints in any season is obvious, duh, but celebs and influencers are rocking the trend in some bold new ways. Because sometimes you need more than one print. Sometimes you need two or three, or a print so sheer without underwear you can trick your boyfriend into thinking it’s lingerie.

Good print styles to go for: school girl-esque plaids, sheer florals, and DEFINITELY jacquard.
