Steal Lisa Ramos’ Sun-Kissed Beauty Look

Summer is full of wonderful things — but melting makeup, smeared eyeliner, and super-sticky lipstick are not among them. We asked Lisa Ramos, our Instagram crush of the week, to spill her best tips for keeping makeup looking fresh and pretty, even when the weather is working against us. Handle the heat and avoid makeup meltdowns with Lisa’s easy-to-follow summer beauty tips.

What’s your biggest tip to healthy skin when the weather is hot hot hot?

Water, water, water! If you Google “Woman Drinks Gallon Of Water Every Day For Four Weeks” you’ll see the difference drinking water makes for your skin.

What summertime skincare products are you in love with right now?

I swear by coconut oil. I put a small amount all over my face after I shower. It keeps everything smooth and hydrated.

What’s your favorite drugstore product at the moment?

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer and exfoliating gloves are my best drugstore finds.

If you could only do one workout forever what would it be?

Crunches because they are easy, give you abs, and I’m lazy.

What nail polish color would you be?

I think I’m Vodka & Caviar by O.P.I.

Do you have an emergency pimple fixer?

Yes, a crushed aspirin and a bit of water applied to a pimple overnight works wonders!

You’re going out for dinner and drinks with the girls. What color lipstick are you wearing?

I’m wearing Spice by MAC. It is my absolute favorite lip color and it looks great on any skin tone.

You’re going on a date and you’re going for sultry lashes. Do you choose strip lashes or extensions?

I love strip lashes. I always go for wispies!

It’s festival season and you’re shopping for bronzer. Which one do you buy?

Give Me Sun by MAC for sure!

Your brows got waxed a bit too thin. What product do you use to fill them in?

Well, first I would scream and then I would use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer.

You’re about to be on long flight. What product do you never fly without?

I never fly without Chapstick! I like to drink water and apply Chapstick a lot during flights. I also brush my teeth at the start and the end of the flight, depending how long it is. It just makes me feel better.
