XASHA is a perfect combinations of carefully curated pieces with a strong emphasis on the elements of art and design. Salt is an exploration of and one of the most common minerals we use that takes so many different forms, shapes and uses. This collection plays with the halite formations as bases for the silhouettes of the pieces and the bright prints are painted with watercolors and sodium chloride that distort the paint and create fraying or corrosion on the paper like salt would corrode metal or other materials. The textile graphics are painted from different salt mines like Lac Rose and the colors are based on the different salt rock colors.
