Lil Mama’s Speeding Arrest Is Bad but Her ‘Work’ Remix Is Worse
Lil Mama can’t catch a break. Just after releasing a remix of Rihanna and Drake’s “Work” to a terrible Twitter reception, the “Lip Gloss” rapper was arrested for speeding and driving without a license in Harlem.
She was allegedly pulled over around 4 AM last night, driving 38 mph in a 25 mph zone, then got charged with aggravated unlicensed driving, and driving without a license. Chances are she was already probably super stressed, since Twitter just shat all over her Rihanna remix.
“2016, got a lot of music droppin’,” she rhymes, sharing her plans for the upcoming year. “Tell the promoters we gon’ get the club poppin’ / If it ain’t about the money, then we ain’t talkin’.”
Unfortunately, it’s not looking like anyone’s too interested, since so many fans and music blogs displayed their disdain for the track:
