Women who have bought the Kardashian-endorsed waist trainers are filing a $5 million dollar lawsuit against Waist Gang Society, claiming that the products don’t work at all.
They claim that the advertisements giving a false understanding of the product’s capabilities, since the description of the waist trainers claim they “burns fatty tissue by making you sweat, targets the back, torso, waist and abdomen areas.”
While all the Kardashian girls rave about their waist trainers on Instagram, TMZ reported a quote from the doctor involved in the lawsuit on the effectiveness of the waist trainers, saying:
“Corsets do not cause you to permanently lose fat in the midsection: they cause a re-distribution of the fat and organs in the trunk.”
