Jessie Paege Is YouTube’s Teen Glitter Queen
Part unicorn, part YouTuber, you’ve probably seen our girl Jessie Paege taking over Galore’s Snapchat with her signature pink hair and glitter highlight. After last getting litty at our Coachella party, we met back up with Jessie in LA to ask her some spitfire questions.
When did you start YouTubing?
Two years ago.
What made you want to start?
Being a fan of others like Bethany Mota, Tyler Oakley, Alisha Marie. I also love British personality YouTubers. I was shy and I wanted to do something that my friends didn’t do.
What were you doing at first in your videos?
I was actually doing makeup and my handle was “glamwithjessie”. It’s so embarrassing! The looks were super easy, neutral makeup tutorials with like, brown eyeshadow for every one with a different beige lip [laughs].
What’s your favorite thing about YouTube?
I like that it’s 100% creative control, 100% me.
We’ve literally never seen you without glitter. Are you ever not wearing glitter?!
I only wear makeup when I need to. I hate wearing makeup! But when I do, I wear glitter.
How old are you?
I just turned 18!
If you were a lipstick color what would it be?
It would be a mood ring but for lips!

Summer.
What’s your sign?
Pisces.
Song you’re obsessed with right now?
“Hard Times” by Paramore.
Favorite snack?
Peanut butter.

It’s always the dog filter, it’s so bad…
Place you want to travel?
Australia, because I loved that mermaid show “H2O” on Nickelodeon when I was little.

I like Halsey’s style.
What’s a recent video of yours we should we check out?
I did a diss track of myself that my friend, a music producer, put a beat to. I went hard on myself. It was so funny.
What’s your next video gonna be about?
It could literally be anything.
