The modeling industry is full of harsh criticisms and high expectations, so it’s no surprise Jasmine’s learned how to apply her makeup perfectly. What products do you swear by for your skin?

I’m obsessed with keeping my skin hydrated so I use a moisturizer and a rosewater spray. I also use makeup removing towelettes on the daily to remove any makeup or dirt from the day.

What have make-up artists backstage at shows and on shoots taught you about beauty ?

An interesting tip I got from a makeup artist are all of the uses of a spoon. I’ve seen makeup artists keep spoons in their kits for under eye bags as well as an emergency eyelash curler.

What are your winter make-up must haves?

50 shades of red lips.

How do you create perfect bombshell hair?

I’m blessed to have naturally curly hair, so for me, especially on the go, a quick hair change can be hopping in the shower, lathering with a good conditioner and letting it air dry. It never hurts for a girl to flip her head and shake it out once in a while for volume as well.

What’s your biggest beauty indulgence?

Wigs. You guys had the opportunity to meet Trinity a while ago, [laughs] which is a long black wig with a bang that I tend to throw on when I’m looking for a change.

Are you a lipgloss or red lips kind of bombshell?

Red lips all the way.

What is your go-to nail color?

Marshmallow by Essie.

How do you keep your skin and hair on fleek ?

Thank you! More often than not, it’s usually makeup artists and hair stylists, so I try to show credit where credit due. Other times it’s me with a little bit of free time, playing with my makeup and sitting in the sink in front of the mirror.

What make-up product do you think is the most underrated and why?

Clear lip gloss is the most underrated because you can use it on the obvious place, your lips, but you can also apply a tiny amount to your eye lids to give you a fun, shiny, glossy look for the day. Surprisingly, you can add a small amount to your cheekbones for a highlight too.

What product in your own make-up bag do you never leave home without?

Whatever blush or bronzer I happen to be wearing that day. Another must have, whether I have on makeup or not, is a clean brow brush.

5 tips for getting the perfect beauty shot for Instagram?

Natural lighting is always nice. You don’t need a filter, just angle the camera slightly above you to take the most flattering picture possible. Use a beautiful highlight powder on your cheekbones to make them shine and stand out. Lastly, have a plain background so the main focus is on you and your beauty!

What is next for you in 2016?

I’ll be showing a different side of me for my fans all while continuing to grow on a personal note. 2016 is bringing great opportunity. I can’t give away all my surprises, but I’m sure you’ll be blown away.
