IZZY DU CELEBRATES NEW YORK DEBUT WITH A VAMPY DINNER + AFTER PARTY IN COLLABORATION WITH NOTHING

In a city teeming with nightly launches and fashion activations, Izzy Du’s arrival in New York didn’t just make noise — it created an atmosphere. With a flair for the surreal and a commitment to the unexpected, Du orchestrated a gothic-chic welcome that blurred the line between fashion show and fever dream. Her celebration wasn’t about clothes — it was about community, cinema, and a new era of self-expression rooted in emotion, not ego.

Guests were immersed in theatrical flair — a stocking-clad passed out cigarettes “IZZY DU girl” drifting through the crowd like a character from a fever dream. After dinner, the night ignited with DJ sets by Memphy, Gilly, and Luigi, keeping the energy bass-heavy and electric. Drinks flowed courtesy of Bumbu Rum and Luc Belaire Champagne, fueling the celebration well into the early hours. The guest list was a who’s who of downtown cool: Patia (Patia’s Fantasy World), Theophilus London, FAVE, VTSS, Blake Abbie, Sophia Sinot, Jess Xu, Ajani, Josh McGregor, Lauren Luo, and more — each embodying the night’s bold, genre-defying spirit.

Izzy Du, founder and creative director of IZZY DU, shared: “I recently moved to NYC, drawn by its energy and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships. Instead of launching with a collection, I wanted to create a feeling — an atmosphere that reflects the community wearing the clothes. I’m stepping away from traditional seasons and presenting ten drops, each a mini-series with a creative brief. This year is about connection, collaboration, and breaking free. I want this to be a continuous celebration of the IZZY DU community. “Partnering with Nothing made perfect sense — their values and aesthetics naturally align with mine. We both came up in London, and this event in New York felt like the right way to merge our worlds and create something unique across fashion, tech, and art.”

Rahul Patel, Culture Marketing Lead at Nothing, added: “This wasn’t just a party — it was a shared moment between two brands pushing boundaries. Izzy’s cinematic vision and emotional storytelling resonate deeply with us at Nothing. From the immersive setting to the product details, everything reflected a mutual love for craft and creativity.”
