An emotional homage to the unique bond between a mother and her child, where memories and childhood influences evolve into a refined and contemporary aesthetic.
The collection delves into how deep emotional connections shape our tastes, choices, and identities. “CASA DE MADRE” is more than a clothing line: it’s a visual narrative weaving together cultural references, personal emotions, and a globally connected aesthetic. This collection is a harmonious fusion of three distinct yet complementary influences. Colombia brings vibrant textures, bold colors, and symbolism deeply rooted in tradition. Rome offers timeless elegance, classic refinement, and architectural inspiration. American storytelling ties it all together, blending modernity with cinematic narratives. These elements merge to create a collection that is at once evocative, nostalgic, and forward-looking.
“This collection stems from the desire to explore how emotional memories, particularly those tied to the maternal figure, shape our view of the world and define our style,” explains Nicolas Martin Garcia, founder and creative director of GARCIAS. “I wanted to celebrate this unique connection through an aesthetic language that is personal yet universal, rooted yet global.”
The casting for “CHAPTER II CASA DE MADRE” was entirely conducted through street casting, featuring a group of young men from different cultures and origins, all living in Italy. This decision highlights the brand’s commitment to authenticity and inclusivity, reflecting the multicultural essence of the collection itself. These diverse faces bring a raw, genuine energy to the narrative, embodying the universality of the themes explored.
