Forever 21 just dropped a seriously cool collab with Yuki Haze
Forever 21 just went up a ton of cool points with its new capsule collection with Yuki Haze.
Yuki Haze is a London-based visual artist who helped Forev create a a 16-piece collection of long-sleeve and short-sleeve tees, mesh knit tops, hooded sweatshirts, a baseball cap and a pinstripe crop and skirt set – all featuring Yuki’s sick illustrations. There are also accessories, and some collection pieces are available in plus sizes.
The digital lookbook, which you can see below, is all the fall fashion inspo you need right now. It was shot by Yuki Haze and Erika Bowes, cofounders of Sukeban Magazine.
“For the Forever 21 x Yuki Haze collection, I was particularly inspired by the concepts of loneliness and isolation as induced or implemented by the digital era we live in,” Yuki Haze said in a press release. “I made a lot of illustrations, for example, of myself taking selfies on my phone, or of ‘Sad Girl’ calling her friends. Although the drawings are light-hearted, I like the idea of drawing onto more complex ideas with seemingly innocuous imagery. A lot of artists and creative people in my generation do the same through their work, drawing on larger topics with humor or nostalgia.”
The prices range from $12.90 to $25.90 and the collection is available on forever21.ccom and in U.S. stores starting today.
