doTERRA Caps Off 2025 With New Product Launches, December Promotions, and a Seasonal Collection Built Around Nostalgia
Utah-based doTERRA has spent 2025 reinforcing its position atop the global essential oils market. The company’s annual September convention drew more than 10,000 attendees and introduced four new product launches in October. Now, doTERRA’s holiday collection, full of seasonal blends, has kept the company visible during a period when the broader essential oils category continues to expand.
Holiday products available through doTERRA’s seasonal offerings page include returning favorites alongside new introductions. Holiday Joy, a blend of Wild Orange, Clove, Cassia, Siberian Fir, Frankincense, Benzoin, Ginger, Peru Balsam, and Cistus, remains a flagship seasonal product. Holiday Peace, combining Siberian, Douglas, and Himalayan Fir with Grapefruit, Frankincense, and Vetiver, appeals to consumers seeking calming aromatics. Yule Log Inviting Blend pulls from Cedarwood, Siam Wood, Sandalwood, and Nootka essential oils with Labdanum and Cistus extracts. Winterberry rounds out the aromatic offerings with a warm, spicy profile.
Hardware Meets Fragrance
Among the notable hardware introductions from doTERRA is the Lumist Silver Diffuser, a motion-activated device designed to release bursts of scent when users enter a room. Sold bundled with a 15 mL bottle of Holiday Joy, the Lumist kit positions doTERRA in the growing category of smart home aromatherapy products. A separate Owl Diffuser paired with the Calmer essential oil blend targets families with children, featuring a soft ambient glow and quiet mist output.
Consumable gifts have also made their way into the holiday collection. Cinnamon Drops, made with organic cane sugar, organic brown rice syrup, and CPTG Certified Pure Tested Grade Cinnamon Bark essential oil, join Lemon-Lime Drops as portable confections infused with essential oils. Lavender Honey, sourced from Brazil and infused with Lavender essential oil, adds another gift option.
October Product Launches Signal Detoxification Focus
doTERRA debuted four foundational wellness products at its Global Convention 2025 in Salt Lake City, all available to the public starting October 1. RevitaZen Detoxification Blend combines Tangerine, Rosemary, Geranium, Ginger, Juniper Berry, and Cilantro essential oils. RevitaZen+ Advanced Organ Detoxification Complex delivers clinically studied botanicals, including black cumin, milk thistle, and artichoke in dual-chamber capsules alongside the RevitaZen blend and Cumin essential oil.
Castor Oil, certified USDA Organic, cold-pressed, and hexane-free, fills a gap in doTERRA’s carrier oil portfolio. PastTense Stick + Sweet Gum reformulates the original PastTense blend into a solid format with added Sweet Gum essential oil, which contains beta-caryophyllene. Details on all convention products appear on the company’s convention kit page.
Maquel Shaw, executive vice president of marketing at doTERRA, addressed the product launches at the September event. “Our Convention is about more than products, it’s about community and empowerment,” Shaw said, according to a doTERRA press release. “We are thrilled to introduce these innovative new offerings and gather with our Wellness Advocates in Salt Lake City, where we celebrated their impact and looked ahead to the future of wellness.”
December Promotions Stack Incentives
doTERRA’s December promotional calendar includes multiple offers. Orders totaling 200 PV or more qualify for a free 15 mL bottle of Frankincense, available through December 31 while supplies last. Loyalty orders of 125 PV or more processed by December 15 earn a free 10 mL bottle of Adaptiv. Adaptiv Capsules carry a 10 percent discount throughout the month. Purchases of the Foundational Wellness Bundle on doTERRA Rewards through December 15 come with Adaptiv 5 mL and a ceramic wreath ornament.
New members enrolling with at least 150 PV can select from three free gifts. doTERRA has also extended its Double Fast Start promotion through December, doubling commission payouts to Wellness Advocates who enroll new members.
Philanthropic Activity Continues Through Year-End
doTERRA Healing Hands, the company’s nonprofit foundation, marked its 15th anniversary in June 2025 after donating more than $55 million to global communities. For the holiday season, the foundation brought back Together Touch, a limited-edition essential oil blend. Each purchase directs $20 to the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation.
“Giving Tuesday is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together,” Misty Bond, vice president of corporate relations and philanthropy at doTERRA, stated in a December 1st press release. “Together Touch allows every customer to join us in creating real, measurable impact.”
At the September convention, more than 850 participants assembled 20,000 hygiene kits for crisis distribution. A separate fundraising initiative raised over $20,000 for Rising Star Outreach, which doTERRA matched.
Market Position Remains Strong
Verify Markets awarded doTERRA its Market Leadership Award in March 2025, citing significant market share and operational excellence in the global aromatherapy and essential oils market. Shilpa Tiku, chief research officer at Verify Markets, observed that doTERRA’s focus on quality and sustainability has positioned the company as a benchmark in the category.
The essential oils market broadly continues to grow. SNS Insider research published in August 2025 valued the global market at $18.47 billion in 2024, with projections reaching $39.10 billion by 2032. Direct sales accounted for approximately 35 percent of global essential oil sales in 2024, with network marketing models driving significant volume.
Looking at the Full Picture
doTERRA won 19 industry awards in 2024 across product, leadership, and sustainability categories. Recognition included gold honors at the Global Makeup Awards for the Refreshing Body Wash, doTERRA Serenity Stick + Valerian, the doTERRA Serenity essential oil blend, and the Roam Diffuser. Root to Tip Serum earned dual recognition for Best Hair Oil and Best Scalp Product.
Sustainability recognition came through the 2024 SEAL Sustainable Innovation Award for the Co-Impact Sourcing model. Shannon Bible, doTERRA’s chief experience officer, received platinum recognition for Team Builder of the Year from the Titan Business Awards. Bishnu Adhikari earned gold for Sustainability Leader of the Year.
For consumers interested in post-holiday wellness, doTERRA has highlighted its 90-Day Reset program, which incorporates the new RevitaZen products alongside existing supplements like VMG+ and EO Mega+. Company materials position the program as a gentler alternative to aggressive detoxification protocols, designed for daily use rather than short-term cleanses.
December marks the final month of a year in which doTERRA expanded its product portfolio, maintained market share, and continued philanthropic commitments to sourcing communities.
