We caught up with GG to find out exactly what brow, bronzer, and lip products she’s into right now. See her fabulous answers, below.
Do you ever leave the house without makeup? Why or why not?
About 95% of the time I already have my makeup done, so anytime I leave the house, I’m leaving face beat! I mean, if I go to the store for quick pick ups or to my sibling’s house, then I’m fine with no makeup.
You’re going out for dinner and drinks with the girls. What color lipstick are you wearing? Any particular brand?
That really depends on the outfit and the specific style I’m going for. Red if I’m going for glam. Otherwise, a nude-brown is usually my go-to. It goes great with every eye makeup and is universal on skin colors. You can’t go wrong with nude-brown lips.
You’re going on a date and you’re going for sultry lashes. Do you choose strip lashes or extensions?
Strip lashes all the way. They come in different varieties, they’re reusable, and they take just seconds to put on. If they fail to stay on, just bring your trusty lash glue with you and you’ll be set all night.
It’s festival season and you’re shopping for bronzer. Which one do you buy?
I believe in mineral bronzers so much. I previously used MAC “Give Me Sun” or Ulta Mineral Bronzer because I’m super pale and those bronzers don’t make me look as orange. Personally, any type of mineral bronzer is my kind of bronzer. It really does look more natural, with a more skin-like finish and a healthier glow.
Your brows got waxed a bit too thin. What product do you use to fill them in?
My all time favorite would have to be Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade. It’s literally the only product I’ll ever finish to the bottom of the pot. It’s worth the money because it’s very pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way. In fact, there was a period of time where I had little to no brows and DipBrow had just come out. After my first time using it, well, I’ve never stopped!
You’re about to be on long flight. What product do you never fly without?
For plane rides, I’ll bring small items because I know I’ll retouch my makeup during my flight. I’d bring Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, MAC lipstick in “Cherish,” TooFaced “Better Than Sex” Mascara, Milani Multitask Blotting Powder, NYC Color Liquid Liner, and NYX Cosmetics Black Gel Pencil Liner.
Any new beauty products you’re in love with right now?
Three things: Cover FX Natural Finish Oil Free Foundation because a little goes a long way. It’s just perfect for my oily skin. TooFaced “Better Than Sex” Mascara because it separates and adds a ton of volume to my mini lashes. And of course, Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder!
