Alexander Wang Is Currently Selling $180 Sneakers in Trash Bags

Alexander Wang announced that he has collaborated with Adidas on an 84-piece collection at his SS17 runway show. Where does one buy the high-priced sneakers, track pants, and sweatshirts? Only from an unmarked white van at the moment.

Adidas sneaker collectors and Alexander Wang fans started lining up for the mysterious goodies at 3 am. The line had stretched almost two blocks, from Canal and Mercer to Mercer and Grand by 12 pm, according to the Cut.

Right at noon, the kid-napping van opened and a bunch of vendors started selling merchandise, packaging the $80–$200 items in black trash bags, and tying the bags with a white Wang bow.

The van moved to Fifth Avenue and 57th Street at 3 pm, and McCarren Park in Brooklyn at 6 pm. ItΒ is alsoΒ stopping in London and Tokyo on September 17th. Follow @AlexanderWangNY for more information.
