The most important beauty product for festival season?
Definitely my “Even Better” foundation by Clinique with SPF, and defs some blotting papers!
What’s your biggest tip to healthy skin?
Honestly, once I learned about face mapping, and how breaking out in certain areas means different things, managing my blemishes became a lot more practical. I make sure to wash my makeup brushes frequently and I never just throw my brushes in my bag, they all have a case so that I’m not putting any excess bacteria on my face. I replace my sponge in my compact every week, a huge bag of 20 is like $1.50 at the drug store.
What skincare products are you in love with right now?
I’m obsessed with The Body Shop’s tea tree line of face cleanser, clay mask, and spot treatment. My best friend and I also make these charcoal and Elmer’s glue masks that work ten times better than any nose strips and are so much cheaper. You can get charcoal capsules at a drug store and break them open and mix them with white Elmer’s glue, sounds weird but I swear by it.
What’s your favorite drugstore product?
Great Lash by Maybelline is my old faithful. It’s the cheapest and most effective mascara!
If you could only do one workout forever what would it be?
Most of my workout is riding my bike everywhere, it’s when I feel the most confident.
What nail polish color would you be?
Definitely red, it’s timeless. Since I dress fairly masculine, it makes me feel kind of glam and spotlights my femininity without me having to dress girly.
Do you have an emergency pimple fixer?
I love my tea tree spot treatment or anything with a benzoyl peroxide, but my life saver for when I’m not prepared is apple cider vinegar. I will dab a cotton ball and bandaid it over a breakout while I sleep — I swear it’s like magic.
You’re going out for dinner and drinks with the girls. What color lipstick are you wearing? Any particular brand?
I love “Angel” by MAC for a dinner since it’s fairly neutral and won’t be too noticeable when it wears from food and drinks.
It’s festival season and you’re shopping for bronzer. Which one do you buy?
The NARS blush and bronzer combo is my favorite! Since I’m fair skinned, I don’t find the pigment too over powering. Also, “Flawless” by FakeBake is a good one!
