CAMPILLO PRESENTS FALL/WINTER 2026
Mexican designer Patricio Campillo presented his Fall/Winter 2026 collection at BOOM at the Standard, High Line in New York City. This season, CAMPILLO is reflecting on how clothing reframes who we are, not only by adoring the body, but also by reorganizing it both internally and externally. This show is a meditation on how clothing is used to reconcile our experience of ourselves and the world around us through two main perspectives: how clothing can be used as a tool to make our identity join with our reality and how clothing can alter our body.

CAMPILLO’s first focus is on the personal transformation that occurs when wearing a garment; including the shift in posture, confidence, and temperament. The way clothing can be a part of actively constructing one’s identity and how that reality influences the way that we project ourselves to the world. Garments become structures that guide the psyche into new ways of being perceived.

Second, this collection examines clothing’s ability to visually reshape the body and how silhouettes become a tool used to craft identity. Garments can make us appear larger, sharper, more restrained or more imposing, and closer to what we aspire to be. This capacity helps us understand how identity is not fixed but continually negotiated. Clothing is a vehicle to extend our form, redirect our movements, and affect how we inhabit space.

This philosophy takes form in CAMPILLO’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. The construction of each garment is of primary importance; while textiles become secondary – almost like a skin applied over a deeper structural truth. The garments exist independently of its fabric, just as the self exists independently of its outward expression. Each piece is a vehicle for identity capable of containing, sharing, and transforming the self. The internal scaffolding enables each garment to convey carefully engineered restraint, controlled volume, and deliberate posture. The body is not only something we have but something we become through the clothing we choose.

Patricio Campillo notes, “Ultimately, the collection suggests that clothing holds a transformative power not only in how it makes us look, but in how it makes us feel. Identity becomes something sculpted, rehearsed, discovered, and reaffirmed through the garments we choose.”

The approach to this collection envisions the human body as the center of all perception and everything we wear becomes an extension of that presence. Tailoring, the cornerstone of CAMPILLO, becomes a way of inhabiting oneself. Using jewel-toned silks, rich suede, and horse-hair trimmings, CAMPILLO presents charro-inspired tailoring. Fall/Winter 2026 consists of cropped jackets, sharp shoulders, and elongated trousers, which have become brand signatures.

Continuing to build upon CAMPILLO’s relationship with Tequila Don Julio, this season front row guests were treated to Tequila Don Julio 70 Añejo Cristalino Mini’s with a bottle charm crafted in Mexico. This accessory was created using Tequila Don Julio agave fibers, emphasizing both brand’s commitment to natural processes and artisan craft.

Once again, CAMPILLO joins forces with APICCAPS and Mariano Shoes, a Portuguese brand with 80 years of expertise in artisanal footwear. This marks the second collaboration between the two brands with their first capsule, featuring a classic boot in four colors, leather loafers with artisanal leather soles, and leather belts. The bags debuted on the runway were produced with Belcinto, a Portuguese leather goods manufacturer renowned for high-quality, durable accessories.

Materials used across the footwear and bag collections were developed as part of the BioShoes4all project, reinforcing APICCAPS’ dedication to innovation, research, and advanced material development. Additionally, selected looks were accessorized with lifestyle adaptations of the Total 90 (T90) football boot provided by Nike, bringing to life Patricio’s lifelong passion for connecting sport and fashion on the runway. Fall/Winter 2026 is a reminder that clothing is not only decoration but also a fundamental part of how we construct and experience who we are.
