Ava Sambora Is the Latest Rock Royalty to Take Modeling by Storm
It’s an understatement to say Ava Sambora is genetically blessed.
Not only is she a dead ringer for her mom, OG supermodel Heather Locklear, but she’s also rock royalty thanks to her dad, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora.

What’s one question you’re sick of getting?
“Are you Heather and Richie’s daughter?”
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Before I wanted to be an actress I wanted to be a doctor. As a kid I would watch shows about medical emergencies and even now I occasionally do. Helping people would be amazing but acting is my passion and my dream.
What’s your #1 pet peeve?
I hate when I lend someone clothes for a certain occasion, then they don’t give it back and I see them wearing it at a later date. I’m very protective of my wardrobe.
What’s your biggest insecurity and how have you learned to accept it and/or tried to mask it?
I have always been really insecure about my height because it is something that I get teased for and can never change. I always wished that I could be taller but I got over it when I realized it can be quickly fixed by wearing heels.
What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
I have two guilty pleasures, boys and cheese. Can’t live with them, can’t live without them!
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I’m a romantic so I would say yes, but I don’t think I’ve ever experienced it. I think I can tell that I like someone the second I meet them, but love takes me a little longer.
If you could go back in time and change ONE thing that you’ve done, what would be it?
I don’t regret anything I’ve done in my past because it has made me who I am today even if in the moment it made me unhappy.
What’s the most valuable advice someone has given you?
My dad always gives me pep talks when I get nervous and always uses the quote “Don’t let your fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” I know it’s super cheesy but it always ends up putting me where I should be.
What’s something about your significant other that would be a deal breaker?
A huge deal breaker is lying. I have tended to go for the guys that look really good on paper but when you actually get to know them just look good because they lied. I’m really trying to stray from those type of guys in 2017.
If you were to get arrested, what do you think it would be for?
I would definitely get arrested for freeing dogs or cats from a pet store that puts down animals that don’t get sold. I have a big sweet spot for animals.
What’s the number on thing you can’t live without?
I absolutely cannot live without my family and friends.
If you had to choose a life slogan what would it be?
Drive fast, take chances. I know it sounds a little reckless but I’m a baby who tends to play it safe so I need to remind myself to be more out there sometimes.
Who’s your celeb lookalike?
Heather Locklear, not really a surprise since she’s my mom.
What’s your sign?
I’m a Libra, which fits me pretty well I think because I always like to be balanced.
What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
Right when I get up I drink a glass of water and check my phone because I have to stay hydrated and connected.
