8 Ways To Grow Thick Eyebrows Naturally

I had beautiful eyebrows at one time in my life. They were full, perfectly shaped, and got me a lot of compliments. But then one terrible day, I got my eyebrows waxed way too thin by a person who is now my arch nemesis (pun intended), and my brows were totally ruined.

Getting my brows back to their original thickness has been tough. It’s hard work that requires a ton of patience. But thankfully, I met Zoe Green, brow goddess at Kelley Baker Brows, and she’s helped guide my way back to thick, natural-looking brows.

Zoe moved to Los Angeles to work for Kelley Baker, famous for giving brow makeovers to celebs like Zendaya Coleman, Naya Rivera, Mandy Moore and Kelly Rowland, just to name a few.

“When I was 16 I went to get my eyebrows done by this lady who completely thinned out my left eyebrow. It was the worst day of my life! I then decided to let them grow in and started doing them myself. My mom bought me a wax pot soon after and I started waxing and practicing on my family and friends throughout high school,” Zoe told me. “It wasn’t anything serious at the time, but I got really good at it! I started to develop this huge passion for it after seeing how happy I was making people feel. There truly is no better feeling!”

So yeah, if anyone gets the brow struggle, it’s definitely Zoe. Checkout the before and after of my brows by Zoe above, and read her 8 tips for growing back thick brows naturally below.

Tip #1 Hide your tweezers ladies.

Tip #2  I swear by castor oil. It really works. Apply with a cotton swab every night before bed for at least 12 weeks.

Tip #3 I suggest letting your eyebrows grow for at least a month before scheduling an appointment with a brow artist. Remember: You can always get your brows cleaned up in between growing them out.

Tip #4 Do your research. Finding a great eyebrow artist can be hard. Instagram is a huge percent of my business, it is a perfect way for you to be able to see different artists work before choosing the right one for you.

Tip #5 Be patient. Growing out your eyebrows can take months, sadly results don’t come in overnight.

Tip #6 When you’ve found the right brow artist, make sure to stick with her. Consistency is key. Hopping around between stylists could possibly change the shape of your desired eyebrow.

Tip #7 Consult with your brow artist about the eyebrow shape you like. I always give my client feedback about which shape fits their face best.

Tip #8 Always brush your brow hairs up for a fuller look. My KBB clear brow gel keeps all my hairs in place. It’s also great for in between waxing when your brow hairs need a trim.

You can find Zoe at the Kelley Baker Brow Bar inside Skin Matrx in Burbank. Check her out on Instagram to find the brow shape of your dreams.
