How do Londoners prepare for their autumn wardrobe?

Honestly, I’m not sure any of us have figured autumn out yet. You need flipflops, an umbrella, shorts and a massive coat. There’s like 4 seasons in a day here.

Fav type of of pub food and why?

I used to love saying the word “lamb shank” because it just sounds tasty but I don’t eat meat anymore so… nut roast? Watch out boys [laughing].

What’s your go-to British style staple and why?

An oversized puffa jacket. Like a massive football [soccer] manager one. You just look mad official. And you can fall asleep anywhere.

Beatles or Rolling Stones? Why?

Beatles. Pulling at those heart strings. Chord progressions on fire… I was born in Liverpool… need I say more?

What would you do on your dream day in London?

Have eggs and avo at the palace with Lizzie, get an all star spa experience with my homies, write a quick casual song with Elton John at Abbey Road, hit those bougie cocktails sky high, and then do an intimate gig at Ronnie Scott’s. Thanks for asking.

Who’s your British style icon and why?

Theres honestly so many great girls here. Ayishat Akanbi and Lynette Nylander both have their own sauce. I want to say M.I.A but I get all embarrassed and shit. But fundamentally she is the ultimate, effortlessly dripping in personal style, blending traditional and new, masculine and feminine, and doesn’t adhere to trends.

How do Londoners prepare for their autumn wardrobe?

With plenty of layer options I’d say! Getting your favorite jumpers and cardigans in are so vital. You also need a couple of different coats. I’m a big fan of jeans in the winter too, so different styles are a must have.

Fav type of of pub food and why?

As far as meat goes I only eat fish. So… it’s definitely a portobello mushroom burger and chips! Because if you get it at the right pub it is actual perfection with a pint.

What’s your go-to British style staple and why?

My black steel capped toe Underground platform boots, they’re like Dr.Martens but better in my opinion because they’re so chunky which is more my style! They go with absolutely everything… rain or shine. The platform really helps you out when strutting through puddles.

Beatles or Rolling Stones? Why?

Definitely the Rolling Stones! They’re just so much more my vibe.

What would you do on your dream day in London?

I love London summers, so it’d have to be a summers day. I’d want complete free reign on absolutely everywhere in London with a helicopter to get me from place to place.

Who’s your British style icon and why?

I actually don’t have one. I take inspiration from what makes me feel good and what I like the look of, that can come from so many different things.

Rolling Stones is perfect road trip music to Cornwall.
