Women In Fashion: Mara Hoffman!
You will always know a Mara Hoffman piece. They are made to make a woman stand out. Her intricate patterns and textiles take influence from a variety of cultures from around the globe. There’s a sense of tribal glam that comes to mine when you see her full collection, and her swimwear will have you booking a trip to Bali in a heartbeat.
Check out some pics of Mara’s Spring/Summer 2015 Collection as well as her interview below, as well as our new issue, available HERE!
What piece from your collection can’t you live without?
In the winter, I can’t live without our Intarsia sweaters. Year round, I actually wear our underwire bikini tops in every print as bras.
Who are your fashion influences?
My fashion influences are all women with cool, sexy, and unique aesthetics. Cher from the 1970s and 80s, Bjork, Lauren Hutton…the list goes on.
What type of women do you see wearing your clothes?
I imagine that women wearing our clothes are usually color and print enthusiasts who are tuned in, whether consciously or subconsciously, to be Warriors of Light.
What’s the best part about being a woman in fashion?
I think the best part of being a woman in fashion is doing what we do to make other women feel awesome and beautiful.
