Who didn’t make the cut on Taylor’s squad tee
Taylor Swift’s music video for “Look What You Made Me Do” had a lot of things going on it. And as numerous sites like Buzzfeed pointed out, there were a lot of things you might have missed after only watching the music video once.
Although to be fair to you, it was probably less of a “you willingly missed it” than a “you genuinely didn’t care because you just wanted to find something good to tweet about” situation.
And one of the biggest things you probably didn’t care about at first was that at one point, Taylor Swift was wearing a shirt with the names of the squad members who haven’t fallen out of her good graces yet.
Here are their names, in no particular order.

Claire, as in Kislinger (she’s a real person from Taylor’s pre-fame life, so don’t even worry about it)
Abigail, as in Anderson (see above)
Ed, as in Sheeran
And Patrick, as in Stewart.
If you’ll remember, Patrick and his BFF Sir Ian McKellen made a big fuss about joining Taylor’s squad after the Bad Blood music video came out because they thought the squad could use a few more male members, no pun intended. Taylor was more than happy to grant them honorary admission into the squad, even though they’re obviously not friends with each other.
And that’s it.
There’s nothing on the back of her shirt. And here’s proof.
So who does that leave off?
A bunch of people who publicly criticized Taylor and/or the squad in public like Lorde, Hailee Steinfeld, and Zendaya.
Ruby Rose, who led a one woman campaign against Katy Perry in Taylor’s behalf.
Sir Ian McKellen, who’s apparently not as good of a fake friend as Patrick.
Serayah, whose one sin seems to be describing the squad as kind of intimidating.
And Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss, presuambly for being friendly with the enemy, otherwise known as Kendall Jenner.
Although knowing Taylor, she probably wanted to stir some shit up about who she is or is not friends with, seeing as that’s been one of the topics people seem to care most about when it comes to her.
Maybe she doesn’t hold anything against the women and man she excluded from her squad list, or maybe she does.
Either way, it doesn’t matter. We’re talking about it so Taylor Swift has won.
Look what she made us do.
