What it Means to Date a Guy from….Greenpoint
Tries to befriend his Polish neighbors, who aren’t amused by the frequent invitations to “pierogi night” at his place. He’ll probably insist on cooking you dinner, so you’ll have to pretend to be impressed by his deconstructed shrimp taco topped with a lemon parsley foam. He’ll pair this dish with a mid-priced wine, which he’ll serve to you in a mason jar (obviously). He texts his mom every other day with updates about how things are going, usually accompanied with a few photos and selfies with his neighborhood “friends.” He owns chalkboard wall decals and plasters them around his kitchen/living room so he can write handy to-do lists and quirky, inspirational phrases on them. You’re not totally sure if he’s employed.
