Trump’s Iconic First Wife Is Writing a Book About Their Marriage
One of the OG DGAF queens, Ivana Trump, is currently writing a memoir. And she’s including the years when she just-so-happened to be married to the current leader of the free world.
In case you didn’t know, Ivana Trump is a pop culture icon. She and Donald, when they were together, were basically the 80s’ Kim and Kanye. They were totally over-the-top, totally glam, and totally insane. Unfortunately, one of them ended up becoming president, which wasn’t really ideal, but that doesn’t take away from Ivana’s icon status.
Previously, Ivana has shied away from talking about her relationship with Donald Trump, which we thought meant he’d had her sign an ironclad non-disclosure agreement post-divorce. The existence of this book casts doubt on that assumption, because it’s unclear how she’ll be able to write about her marriage and kids without, you know, writing about her marriage.
Their divorce was ugly — not only did it dominate the news at the time, but it stemmed from Donald’s infidelity. He cheated on Ivana with Marla Maples, who went on to become his second wife and mother of Tiffany Trump.

Also, in a divorce deposition, Ivana accused Donald of raping her during a fight. The accusations didn’t get nearly enough attention during the last election cycle — not that Trump’s supporters would have cared. Ivana later recanted the accusations, but you’re not really supposed to lie during depositions and most people realize that. You can read about all of that here.
Her pop culture imprint even extended to the silver screen. Ivana was known in later years for her massive divorce settlement from the Donald — every last penny of which we’re positive she earned during her marriage to that slimeball. She even made a cameo appearance in “First Wives Club” and poked fun at herself with this line:
Suffice it to say, Ivana is not Donald’s biggest fan. I mean, check out the shade just dripping from this statement from her publishing company:
“As her former husband takes his place as the 45th president of the United States, his children have also been thrust into the media spotlight — but it is Ivana who raised them and proudly instilled in them what she believes to be the most important life lessons: loyalty, honesty, integrity and drive.”
Honestly, we believe it! You know if the Trump kids have even a shred of integrity left, it ain’t coming from their dad’s side.
The book is coming out on Sept. 12 and we seriously cannot wait. Ivana, stock up on your Adderall and truth serum, and get that sh*t done!
